The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Manhattan, New York, 1989. I waited until the silhouette of the man appeared like a clear drawing against the sky. Pure loneliness. The picture is part of my series "New York Blues". I had been trying to translate the mood of my own and this city into colour. This monochrome blue seemed to be perfect in my opinion.
