The Danube is the second longest river in Europe, after the Volga in Russia. It flows through much of central and southeastern Europe. Once a frontier of the Roman Empire it today connects ten European countries, running through their territories or being a border. Originating in the Black Forest of Germany it flows southeast for 2,850 km (1,1770 miles) through Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia,Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine ending in the Black Sea. This unique view through a brick archway is in Esztergom Hungary.
About Peter Jackson
I originally produced birthday videos for my grandchildren using a simple duck glove puppet, made glasses, cape and neck decoration and created a character called Danny Duck who actually speaks. Using just a cheap smart phone and free software on my laptop the videos were too large to attach to emails. I created a Danny Duck YouTube channel so that I could email the links and a creative 'bug' was born. I bought photographic kit and eventually a DSLR camera for my newfound creative hobby. I took Danny and another glove puppet out 'on location' locally and even on holiday to Tunisia to make more videos and take photos for new projects and added the videos to YouTube.
