This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Shaman's Cave is a place where the Ancient People would meditate and perform spiritual and healing practices--truly a beautiful and sacred place. Bill Caldwell has always loved hiking and the outdoors so his artistic photography is based in the natural world--landscapes, seascapes, and macro/close-ups of flowers, leaves, rocks, and driftwood, as well as abstracts created from his macro images. After earning his BA degree in industrial and scientific photography in 1978, he spent 20 years in the US Air Force as a Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) navigator. Now he's pursuing his lifelong love of landscape and artistic photography along with his enduring interest in spirituality including certification in Integrated Energy Therapy (IET). Although he's a bit of a nomad, he currently lives with his wife on the Oregon coast and he's amazed at the stunning beauty of the area as well as...

Bill, just a random visit as is the only possible way these days, but, what a visual delight and awesome composition !! It would have been a huge loss if I had not been able to appreciate this sacred and inspirational image. I carry pictures away with me though I never remember words and facts! Shamans Cave is like, wow! I'm so hoping to dream about about it! The two "windows" and the way they receive the light feed my imagination! To spend time in this cave, maybe changes the "view" !
