The European garden spider (Araneus diadematus), also known as diadem spider, orangie, cross spider and crowned orb weaver, is a species of spider found across Europe and North America. They range in colour from yellow to brown and dark grey their legs have banded stripes. Their abdomens are patterned with black and white patches.

Hi, thank you so much for visiting my page! I am a self-taught artist and photographer living in Dorset in the South of England and I have a huge passion for animals. I spend a lot of time photographing animals and nature and create my art using these photographs as reference.
